  1. Ben Cox says:

Wish I’d thought of this when the Westboro Baptist Church came through town to protest my school last year.

    • Help says:

they’re coming to mine soon any ideas?

      • Ben Cox says:

Somebody brought a life sized cow statue and a sign reading “you’re not in Kansas anymore.”
I actually wasn’t able to get outside during the counterprotest – the WBC came while classes were in session, and I had a teacher who didn’t want to let us out. The three GLBT kids in the class (3 out of 12 is pretty high, no?) skipped.

Plus, the WBC failed and protested the wrong side of the building. Kinda funny watching out the window as they screamed at the fire exit.

      • Ken says:

If you really want to drive the Phelps clan crazy, ignore them. It would break their hearts if no one bothered to look to them or speak to them.

        • Ebay says:

          Ken, you’re totally right.
These people live to cause a scene and get attention. If the whole world were just to walk on by withough a second glance then imagine how upset they’d be! The only way their voice stays alive is when it is given an ear, if you don’t listen, it will fade away….

On the other hand, this sign is hilarious and i love it! haha :)

          • thx1449 says:

Agreed, or read the bible to them. Because they obviously aren’t reading the same one I am.

            • dan says:

yeah, God loves homosexuals, just not the act of homosexuality. just like he loves alcoholics, but not their alcoholism.

              • AbdelAzeez says:

                Stupid comment dan.

                • o.O says:

True comment, though. God doesn’t hate the sinner–he just hates the sin. He hates the sin because it separates the sinner from God by having focused on the sin rather than God. Quid pro quo: Anything can become a sin if you focus on it more than you focus on God; however, that doesn’t mean that sin instantly condemns you. He knows that we are not perfect and accepts that; but he commands that you must do two things: Make a wholehearted effort to keep from sin (Nobody but you and him will be able to honestly tell if you are doing it wholeheartedly) and believe that he is the way to salvation and atonement. So many churches today keep flipping the way to salvation around making it seem as though you have to live a “perfect” life in order to stay out of hell, but the very book that they use to quote from states that salvation comes faith which leads to good works, rather than their twisted reality of good works leading to salvation.

                  • Sami says:

Kudos to both you and Dan for being the voice of reason.

                    • Eric Reber says:

This is not the voice of reason, but the voice the ego-centrism. They will only see the “other” through the narrow lens of their own religious and cultural experience. Homosexuality is only a “sin” if you believe in Christianity. I am not here to argue with their viewpoint because faith cannot be beholden to rational discourse.

                  • Sliphit says:

I still don’t understand how God could possibly HATE anything. Or how the “entity behind all of creation” can be molded to standard human emotion

                • Adam says:

                  stupid comment AbdelAzeez
                  dan made an EXCELLENT point.

            • Adam says:

no no, we are. It’s the EXACT same one.lol I’m christian. I’m bisexual. I read the bible. I know what it says. Do you?

        • trickster says:

Exactly. WBC are the real real-life trolls. Ignore them and they lose all their power.

  2. Wolfram says:

Two can be as bad as one …

Seriously, though, i’d recommend my local Pride club to have that sign for any counterprotest xD

  3. Mearna says:

    God loves the homosexuals.

    Please don’t think any differently.

  4. dlo says:

    Too gay to be funny

  5. Antelieris says:

Seeing as how the bible says God loves all of his children, I would surmise he doesn’t hate gays. There’s also the fact that assuming you know what God thinks about anything is pretty much along the lines of saying his name in vain. Therefore, as a REAL Christian who follows the commandment known as “Love thy neighbor,” I believe the “so called” Christians who state God hates gays are going to hell.

  6. jared says:

    ha, i like this one

  7. giff says:

Everytime I bring a straight woman (single or taken) to a gay bar the first thing she always says is “Every one of you is hot…and you’re all gay?”. My mom couldn’t handle seeing hot older men when I took her out. It’s just a fact.

    • M a r c says:

The only “fact” is that we try harder to look good for a longer period of life. Effort goes a long way…haha…

      • Casa says:

The dating pool is small enough, when you toss in any sort of deviant behavior you narrow your choices down even more… basicaly you have to look good to be competative.

  8. Cornstarch says:

    Gays are cute > w <

    REMEMBER, PEOPLE! EGG!!
    Emos
    Goths, and
    Gays

give the BEST hugs on earth :]

  9. Rare says:

    IT’S A TRAP!
no really, that applies to traps

  10. Schmoe says:

Do your thing but don’t touch mine.

  11. bobbybobob says:

if god wouldn’t have wanted gay people, why would he have made them?
or why would he have made the prostate a male g-spot thats fully stimulable?

    • Rogahar says:

A comment I keep bringing up in these people’s faces that seems to get ignored.

Asides from which, it’s a logical fallacy. God made us all. God hates gays. God therefore made me gay. Thus, God made me to burn in hell.

If the above is true, then God can go to hell. =P Simple as, lol.

      • Nemo! says:

        I know, right?
I once sent the “godhatesfags” guys a…. letter…… Very long. Threw everything in their face. Epic win letter.
But seriously. Why would anyone worship this “God” of theirs if he was just going to damn us all to Hell anyway? If “God” is so damn hateful, what’s the point?

    • Ben says:

Really. Men are innately sexual creatures; otherwise, we wouldn’t have every fucking nerve tied into the organ most directly related to the orgasm.

  12. Igetstabby says:

You bass turds, you’re saying he doesn’t love the ugly ones!

  13. Grammar King says:

You’re not cute, you make me want to puke!

  14. LoveOrMurder says:

    yay for obvious win

  15. heather says:

    He has a point…

  16. Dawn says:

    So true!
I dated a gay guy before either of us came out… He was sooo cute, even before he grew out his hair.

  17. Jenn says:

God hates no one cause he doesn’t exist ><

  18. Tristan says:

    Too true… Too true

  19. Clementine says:

Don’t be mean to the WBC people. Fighting hate with hate isn’t going to get anyone anywhere, it’s just going to put everyone in a tizzy.
    xxx.

  20. Empress says:

This is so true. They are fuckin adorable those gays.

  21. Uhhh says:

the devil was considered one of the most beautiful things around
